Tableau Vivante (misspelled, I know…the 'e' stands for 'eating') was the foodie blog of a native Southern Californian (you can call me T.V.) with roots in local cuisine and culture. Expect farmer's market minutia, homemade everything, recipes, failed attempts at humor, and the typical musings of an Internet blog.
I focus mainly on local cuisine and seasonal fare typical of the Southern California region, spotlighting local farmer’s markets and what I do with my usual hauls. I bake a lot. I take a lot of pictures. I experiment and improvise. I talk a good deal with vendors, farmers, caterers, creative home cooks, and the occasional professional restaurant chef.
